  • Disciplined Frequency Standards

    2960AR and 2965AR - Novatech Instruments , Inc.

The 2960AR has a rubidium timebase and provides two 10MHz and one 5MHz sine wave outputs. The 2965AR has a rubidium timebase and provides one 10MHz, one 5MHz and one signal generator output. The signal generator output uses Direct Digital Synthesizer (DDS) technology and is programmable from 100Hz to 50MHz via an RS232 serial interface. Both models can be disciplined by a 1pps input signal and provide a 1pps output. The 1pps input is typically provided by the GPS Frequency output from a device like a smart GPS receiver or antenna. The Novatech GPS1 Smart Antenna is available as an accessory to provide a complete turnkey solution.

  • 10 GHz Signal Source

    YIG Series - SignalCore, Inc.

The SC5503B and SC5502A are designed to meet demanding low phase noise applications. This is accomplished by employing a multiple phase-locked loop architecture as well as a YIG oscillator as the heart of its synthesizer. Frequency accuracy is provided by an onboard 10 MHz temperature compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO) which can be phase locked to an external reference source if required. These modules can be used as standalone CW signal sources or as LO sources for frequency conversion systems such as the SignalCore IQ modulators and demodulators. They are designed to meet the requirements of many modern applications such as wireless device testing, software-defined radio research, point-to-point radio, multi-channel coherent systems, and other academic and military programs.

  • Network Analyzer

    DPNA-6G AXIe - Holding Informtest

The AXI DPNA-6G module is the world's first network analyzer in the form factor of the AXIe-1 module, as well as the first Russian device that meets the AXIe-1 standard. In the mode of the network parameters meter, the AXI DPNA-6G module measures the vector values of the network parameters on two ports: transmission coefficients (S12, S21) and reflection (S11, S22). At the same time, all necessary types of calibrations are supported: one- and two-port short-circuit, XX, matched load, transmission normalization. The software supports the import of third party calibration standard parameters. In the measuring receiver mode, the module provides:*generation of a harmonic signal (frequency synthesizer);*spectrum analyzer and power level in a given band;*measuring the frequency of a known signal;*measurement of analog modulation parameters;*phase noise measurement.

Windfreak Technologies provides high value radio frequency devices such as RF Signal Generators, RF Synthesizers, RF Network Analyzers, RF Power Detectors, RF Mixers, and RF Frequency Converters. These devices can be used as RF Test and Measurement Equipment and controlled by Labview in an Automated Test Equipment (ATE) setup, or used as bolt-in RF modules in RF communications equipment. All products have innovative, powerful feature sets controlled by internal microprocessors so any settings can be memorized and used with or without a PC. Windfreak hardware also comes with the Labview GUI source code saving the end user hundreds of hours programming custom software.  Use one of our RF Signal Generators or other products risk free.  Return it if you dont like it.

  • 16-Bit, 12 GSPS, RF DAC and Direct Digital Synthesizer

    AD9164 - Analog Devices Inc.

The AD9164 is a high performance, 16-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) and direct digital synthesizer (DDS) that supports update rates to 6 GSPS. The DAC core is based on a quad-switch architecture coupled with a 2× interpolator filter that enables an effective DAC update rate of up to 12 GSPS in some modes. The high dynamic range and bandwidth makes these DACs ideally suited for the most demanding high speed radio frequency (RF) DAC applications. The DDS consists of a bank of 32, 32-bit numerically controlled oscillators (NCOs), each with its own phase accumulator. When combined with a 100 MHz serial peripheral interface (SPI) and fast hop modes, phase coherent fast frequency hopping (FFH) is enabled, with several modes to support multiple applications.

Our A2PATS Family of Products are electromagnetic environment simulators built upon Textron Systems' open-architecture direct digital synthesizer technology, coupled with our proven user interface. Our easily programmable, plug-and-play modular architecture uses identical, phase-coherent, direct digital Synthetic Stimulus Instruments (SSIs) as the radio frequency (RF) source for all signals. These modular commercial RF Sources are easily configured in our commercial cabinets. Four standard configurations are available including single-cabinet, multi-cabinet,  mini-A2PATS, and A2DSG™.The A2PATS Family consists of numerous commercial products including but not limited to A2PATS, A2DRI™, A2DSG and A2EOSTIM.

  • 20 GHz Signal Source

    VCO Series - SignalCore, Inc.

The SC5510A and SC5511A are VCO-based, synthesized signal sources with very low phase noise and an amplitude control of 0.01 dB throughout its -30 dBm to +15 dBm output power range. By utilizing a unique multiple phase-locked loop architecture, phase spurs are kept below -70 dBc across the entire tuning range, even at 1 Hz step resolution. Download the data sheet to see how the impressive features and specifications of these modules make them stand out when compared to other small modular synthesizers. These 20 GHz signal sources include an additional, independent RF2 channel with a tunable frequency range from 100 MHz to 3 GHz and a tuning resolution of 25 MHz. The extra channel makes the modules suitable for either single-stage RF conversion systems or dual-stage image suppression up/down converter systems. Both modules make great general-purpose laboratory signal sources where demanding low phase noise and signal purity are required. They are both ideal choices as an integrated clock source for fast DAC and ADC applications, especially those that require variable sampling rates. Full implementation instructions, GUI, driver software, and example code are provided with each module.
